All camp groups travel off-site weekly for Field Trip Fridays. We take air-conditioned, chartered buses to age-appropriate locations for activities that are educational and lots of fun. The camp day is 9:00am-4:00pm for all children, including those in half day home groups. Our priority is to take trips that give campers an opportunity to be in a natural setting or museum worth exploring as a group.

In order to maintain a very safe adult to camper ratio, additional teaching specialists accompany home groups on field trips.

Ages four-six go on field trips to such places as the Central Park Zoo and Carousel, the New York Botanical Gardens, the Children's Museum of Manhattan and the New York Hall of Science.

Ages seven-ten go to places such as the Bronx Zoo, Liberty Science Center, New York Hall of Science, Chelsea Piers and Central Park for a field day.

Note that the last field trip of the camp season will take place on Wednesday, July 30 th rather than Friday, August 1 st. Friday, August 1 st will be Camp Share Day.
