On Tuesday May 8th, at the 2018 Oliver Scholars Gala, Labeebah received the Award for Excellence in Scholarship. During her four years at LREI, she has maintained an A average; she has done so while heading the Black Student Union, acting as lead organizer of LREI's Diversity Day, and serving as a school peer leader.

In June of 2018, Oliver Scholars featured Labeebah on CNN's Champions for Change.

Recently, CNN Tonight anchor and Oliver Scholars Gala Honoree, Don Lemon interviewed Labeebah at the Spence School in Manhattan to get a complete picture of what it takes to be a Scholar. For more information, visit oliverscholars.org.
