Community Service

LREI has a long tradition of fostering volunteer service to the community, involvement with issues of economic and social justice, and service learning as a central component of the core curriculum. There are grade-wide community service days throughout the year, as well as all-school opportunities to come together in support of causes that matter to the school. The high school has a student-run community service group that coordinates opportunities for students with social service and philanthropic organizations throughout the city from soup kitchens to homeless shelters.
