LREI Knights stopped a five game losing streak to the Calhoun school dating back six years.  The game was close the entire way, as both teams were hitting corner threes and getting to the foul line a lot to counter the aggressive defenses.  
Down by two at half, LREI's third quarter press worked to create frustration for Calhoun's ball handlers and some easy buckets to get a six point advantage.   Five different players hit three-pointers for the Knights which kept Calhoun at bay.  With the crowd screaming right at him, Mekhi calmly hit all three of his free throws at the end of the game to seal the win. Jonathan H and Mekhi led all scorers with 13 points a piece, and Joseph chipped in 11.
