In September, LREI started construction on our highly anticipated Charlton Street Arts Pavilion. The five-story space, which will be located in the back of the courtyard, will house fine arts studios, a digital film lab, an alumni archive and a theater shop.

"We are so very excited to finally be building a space to match our unmatched arts program," says Director Phil Kassen.

Set to be completed for the fall of 2012, the Arts Pavilion will support LREI students' work, and also be used to host creative arts programs for the local community. The project comes after last year's high school campus expansion, during which we opened a sky-lit student center, a soundproof music suite, a college office and seminar rooms.
